Dr Abdi Ali

Dr Abdi Ali is a development economist with more than 18 years of experience in economic reform, development finance and institution-building in post-conflict settings across Africa and Asia.

He is Head of the State Fragility Initiative at the International Growth Centre and serves as National Economic Advisor to the Government of Somalia. Previously, he served as Executive Director and Chief Economist at the Central Bank of Somalia.
