Professor Christian Harrison

Professor Christian Harrison is Professor of Leadership and Enterprise at the University of Greater Manchester and Director of the Centre for Leadership and Empowerment. He leads the Research and Doctoral Programmes of the Off Campus Division.

He is the Incoming Chair of the British Academy of Management and one of 24 experts selected by the UK Government to support the development of ministers, civil servants and public-sector leaders and to inform policy development.

His scholarship includes research papers and books such as Leadership Theory and Research: A Critical Approach to New and Existing Paradigms. He serves on editorial boards, journal panels and book series, and has delivered leadership training to government, healthcare and business organisations.
